930 gram Pyrite, Crystal and Mixed Mineral Ore Sample Unknown Origin or Type
Heavy mineral ore sample containing mixed minerals – I have no idea what they all are, but looks to have 4 types of minerals. Tiny white crystal formations, tiny pyrite formations on the surface with a blob of tan-ish colored rock. The dark grey also give the impression of being crystalline of some type with lighter grey rock material and infused in the specimen looks to be small pyrite flecks. Rocks are not my thing, but someone thought enough of it to hold on to it, so I thought someone else might think so to. Weighs 930 grams give or take (a hair over 2 pounds) and is about 4″ x 3″ x 2 1/2″ with of course the measurements varying due to shape.
